Supply Management Professional – Corporate Contracts

Job Summary
Contracts Management Specialist: Develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead contract negotiation and lifecycle management, conduct market research and supplier analysis across key commodity portfolios (including chemicals), manage supplier relationships to improve performance, and leverage data analytics and benchmarking to enable informed decision-making and enhanced cost management. Communicate complex commercial concepts through impactful presentations, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain practices. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 10–15 years of progressive experience in operations, category management, and strategic sourcing, plus strong communication and collaboration skills. Location: Calgary, Alberta (Office-based).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, law, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in operations, category management and strategic sourcing
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and develop strategies without prompting from the business unit
- Demonstrated ability to influence business units and others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM are considered an asset
