Job Summary
Lead contract negotiation and lifecycle management for a chemicals portfolio, developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Apply market research, spend analytics, and benchmarking to evaluate suppliers, drive cost management, and identify opportunities across key commodity portfolios. Communicate complex commercial concepts to stakeholders, influence sourcing strategy, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within procurement activities, delivering value through risk mitigation, supplier governance, and enhanced supplier performance. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10-15 years of progressive experience in operations, category management, and strategic sourcing; professional certifications (CSCP, CPSM) are considered assets. Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada; full-time role with relocation potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, law, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in operations, category management and strategic sourcing
