Job Summary
Management of surgical supplies and inventory across PAR levels; assembles supplies needed for surgical procedures targeting Resource Maps; maintains bin locations and ensures instrument trays are properly located; monitors stock levels and maintains supply availability for scheduled and additional cases; manages budgets and submits budgetary recommendations for supplies and instruments; coordinates with department and coworkers to support patient care needs; requires 2 years of college or equivalent experience and 2-4 years in hospital materials management; includes strict adherence to inventory procedures and procurement guidelines; strong organizational and analytical skills required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of college or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years in hospital materials management
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Materials Management software programs
- Ability to read, write, perform mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational and analytical ability
