Job Summary
Store, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout various healthcare settings. Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders, restock exchange carts including Code and Procedural trays, and remove expired or recalled products per policy. Distribute oxygen tanks and minor equipment to nursing units, clinics, and other locations using appropriate signature technologies. Process issues and credits in the ERP system, report inventory discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintain clean workspaces and ensure par locations are free of debris. Respond to customer service requests via phone and email while utilizing handheld scanners and software programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in typing
- Proficiency in computer use
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems
- Knowledgeable in operating office equipment (fax, copier, printer)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening
- Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving
- Variable shift availability
