Job Summary
Under supervision, responsible for basic supply ordering and replenishment, restocking of clean and removal of soiled linen; deliver and distribute department special orders; maintain storeroom and linen room cleanliness; support supply-chain-related duties including Omnicell replenishment and inventory counts; requires high school or GED, basic computer skills, English proficiency, 6 months in supply chain/logistics, and ability to lift and move heavy items; part-time role at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System Hospital Campus in Pontiac, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License preferred
- 6-months experience in supply chain-related distribution/warehousing/logistics
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Basic arithmetic literacy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy linen carts up to 500 lbs
- Knowledge of inventory systems and par-level replenishment
- Fifo protocol familiarity
- General computer/keyboarding skills
- Ability to use PPE and maintain safety standards
