Job Summary
Lead the warehouse staff to operate daily distribution workflows, ensuring volume and productivity goals are met while managing inventory levels, supply cost control, and staff overhead. Execute daily and weekly distribution objectives, oversee storage, staging, packaging, and outbound material handling, and validate operating standards to drive down indirect hours. Manage a safe workplace through accident preparedness training, coach team leads and associates, and proactively resolve product flow problems. Maintain systems integrity and enforce proper work methods to maximize productivity throughout the center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience managing diverse teams of 10-15+ associates
- 4–5+ years supervisory experience
- 2+years supervising in a distribution center environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop other leaders
- Strong reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
- Strong technical skills including, word, excel and WMS experience
