Job Summary
Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist – Level 4 located in Magna or Promontory, UT. In this role you will procure specialized goods and services for a portfolio of programs, vet suppliers, and define subcontracting strategies. You will write and award subcontracts (within authority or obtain approvals as needed), conduct pre-award activities (RFPs, proposal analysis, negotiations) and post-award activities (administration, changes, invoice validation, closeout). You will execute NDAs and teaming agreements, ensure compliance with public laws, and monitor supplier quality and delivery schedules. Engage in continuous process improvement and apply procurement integrity practices. Primary qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years (or a master’s with 6+ years), ability to obtain/maintain DoD TS/SCI clearance, and familiarity with FAR/DFARS. SAP and Costpoint experience, U.S. government/military experience, and a willingness to travel 10% are preferred. U.S. Citizenship is required for government-related positions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret/SCI security clearance
- Familiarity with FAR and DFARS
- U.S. Citizenship required for government positions
- Travel: 10%
- Experience with SAP and/or Costpoint (preferred)
- Experience working with the U.S. government and/or U.S. military (preferred)
