Job Summary
Monitor and expedite the flow of goods, resources, and information to ensure critical supply chain processes run effectively and meet organizational KPIs. Coordinate with procurement, production, inventory control, and distribution functions to optimize the supply chain, while identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions. Work with suppliers to resolve issues, enforce compliance with schedules and product conformity, and conduct on-site assessments to evaluate capacity and readiness. Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to align requirements and develop recovery plans for delays. Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and support procurement strategies. Perform these duties remotely with more than 50% travel likely.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
- More than 50% travel likely
