Supply Chain Specialist

Proactively expedite supplier purchase orders and confirm promised ship dates, quantities, and delivery methods to ensure materials are delivered on time for production schedules. Obtain and track shipment details, including tracking numbers and carrier information, while following up on past-due or at-risk orders and escalating issues as needed. Correct ERP data issues such as wrong lead times, negative inventory, and bad item/vendor info to maintain accurate order status. Communicate changes in delivery status clearly to Planning, Purchasing, and Production teams, and maintain a daily and weekly critical parts list highlighting shortages and high-risk items. Requires experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with preferred proficiency in ERP systems like Infor XA, MAPICS, or AS400.
