Job Summary
Behr Paint Company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to schedule production and allocate inventory to designated Behr facilities, purchase raw materials and packaging, and monitor Distribution Center Inventory to maintain 100% Fill Rate. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, resolving quality non-conformances with quality teams, maintaining pricing and sourcing updates in SAP, managing purchase orders, and performing analyses on inventory age and coverage. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, if-then, Pivot tables) and ERP experience (SAP) are required, along with experience in manufacturing or distribution environments and solid communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Educational attainment equivalent to bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management or related field
- APICS CPIM Certification required: pass module 1 within first year and obtain full certification within 3 years of hire
