Job Summary
Supply Chain Specialist at Impulse Space responsible for full ownership of procurement and supplier-management activities to support hardware and material delivery for spacecraft manufacturing. Manages PO issuance, quotes, BOM configuration, supplier onboarding, forecast delivery, multiple RFPs, supplier performance, and on-time delivery. Works with design and manufacturing engineering to align lead times and vendor identification, monitors inventory against demand, coordinates logistics for outsourced parts, and ensures accurate receipts and invoicing. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with ERP/inventory systems, procurement, vendor relations, and SQL; preferred experience in aerospace/space components, dashboard tooling, and cost analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in supply chain, engineering or related field
- 1+ years’ demonstrated experience working with ERP or inventory systems
- 1+ years’ experience procuring, logistics, managing vendor relations
- 3+ years’ working in procurement or sourcing, contract negotiations, and cost analysis
- Experience and exposure to commodity types related to Machining, Additive, COTs (Fittings/Fastener/Washers etc), Metal Raw Materials, PCB/PCBA’s, Composites, or Aerospace/Space related components
- Understanding of manufacturing processes related to mechanical component
- Demonstrated experience building dashboard tools to automate repetitive daily tasks
- Demonstrated experience using SQL
