Job Summary
Oversee inventory integrity, restocking, and repair part processing including timestamps, pulls, and component deliveries to technicians. Control vendor materials within budget, propose stock level changes, and analyze records while expediting late orders and tracking nonconforming parts. Process requisitions, enter order data, and place warranty claims with OEMs to replace defective parts. Resolve inventory discrepancies, participate in semi-annual physical inventories, and collaborate with Accounting to assure accuracy. Establish cost reduction programs, monitor past due orders to reduce POE and invoice grief, and assist Customer Service with system transactions. Maintain cross-reference systems and adhere to safety procedures in a factory environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
