Job Summary
Monitor inventory levels, create purchase orders, and track supplier expediting to ensure material availability for production and customer delivery. Review demand trends to support planning activities while maintaining accurate inventory data within ERP systems. Coordinate with Operations, Production, and Sales teams to align schedules and resolve shortages or discrepancies. Compile operational reports and assist in continuous improvement projects as directed. This onsite role in Provo supports the effective coordination of materials across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, operations management, logistics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, production planning, logistics, or related operations functions
- Experience working with inventory control, purchasing, or production scheduling processes
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support operational decision-making
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of forecasting, inventory planning, and demand management principles
- Experience with Power BI, VBA, Power Query, or other reporting and automation tools
- APICS/ASCM certification or progress toward certification
