Supply Chain Specialist

Utilize the Material Requirements Planning system to ensure production requirements are supported by on-time delivery of materials. Manage assigned purchase requirements, generate and issue Purchase Orders for Purchase Requisitions, and follow up on late orders by issuing Supplier Corrective Action Requests. Forecast production requirements for the supply base, manage material exceptions, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers while maintaining yearly scorecards for quality and delivery performance. Assist accounting in resolving invoice discrepancies and provide weekly and monthly metrics to the team. Initiate consignment or stocking programs to reduce days of inventory on-hand while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.
