Supply Chain Sourcing Manager - Control Panels & Automation Systems

Job Summary
Lead sourcing and procurement for control panels, automation hardware, and electrical components, including UL 508A panel fabrication, RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and related devices. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, secure manufacturing capacity, and drive cost and lead-time optimization. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and Quality to align supply chain strategy with project requirements, lifecycle management, and compliance (UL/NEC). Support new product introductions, obsolescence planning, and scalable deployments across energy infrastructure and utility projects. Maintain strong vendor performance, risk management, and alignment with budgeting and savings initiatives. Skillset includes RFQ/RFP processes, supplier audits, performance reviews, and cross-functional program leadership in industrial controls, automation platforms, and data-center/critical infrastructure contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience with industrial electrical equipment, control panels, automation systems, or power infrastructure
- Experience sourcing custom control panel assemblies, automation hardware, and electrical equipment
- Strong understanding of industrial controls and automation platforms
- Familiarity with UL 508A control panels, electrical distribution equipment, and industrial communications systems
- Proven negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience supporting energy, industrial, data center, utility, or critical infrastructure projects is preferred
