Job Summary

Develop production strategies by collaborating with strategic sourcing, engineering, and program teams to ensure reliable supply for upcoming product launches. Evaluate and select supply plans based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness to maintain a robust supply base aligned with rapid development schedules. Load and report on supply plans within a Material Requirements Planning engine while forecasting spend, supply, and infrastructure requirements through close collaboration with business stakeholders. Resolve issues with rejected materials by working with engineering and quality teams to prevent future quality problems and address risks and compliance requirements. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on critical supply issues through Clear to Builds and support the onboarding and training of new planners. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant government regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in a related field, program, or project
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Active US Government security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
  • U.S. citizen or national
  • U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
  • Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
  • Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
  • eligibility to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with MRP or ERP systems, and with managing bill of materials, work orders, and purchase orders, and the total ownership of the data within them
  • broad mechanical domain knowledge, including machined parts, composites, chemicals, avionics and their associated manufacturers and manufacturing methods
  • Innovative problem-solving approach using critical thinking, including utilization of learnings from an American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification, Six Sigma certification, or similar certifications
  • data analysis using Excel, SQL, or an advanced analytics software
