Job Summary
Supply Chain Planning Engineer in Lafayette, IN leads planning analysis, represents Supply Chain in sourcing discussions, and drives end-to-end supply chain projects. Responsibilities include performing planning analyses, coordinating with Purchasing and Supply Chain, leading cross-functional teams, developing project reports for management, and applying industry benchmarks to optimize supplier and product chain performance. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or progressive supply chain experience), strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and effective communication across management levels; preferred qualifications include a Masters-related to supply chain and 6-Sigma training. The role requires onsite work five days a week with up to 10% travel and relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or closely related disciplines (or progressive supply chain experience)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across management levels
- Experience with supply chain systems (e.g., MAMM MRP, Lognet, MRC, EDI, MESL, Pull Manager) and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead projects
- 6-Sigma training and experience (preferred)
- Willingness to relocate (if applicable)
- Travel up to 10%
