Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary
Supply Chain Planner II focuses on supporting Strategic Inventory (STI), developing supply schedules to maintain inventory positions, and coordinating cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders and external Tier-1/Tier-2 partners. Responsible for monitoring safety stock levels, open purchase orders, and KPIs; escalating shortages and participating in continuous improvement of materials management processes. Requires Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field and 2+ years of experience; strong data analytics, storytelling with data, and clear communication in English. The role supports a hybrid work arrangement in Penang, Malaysia and involves collaboration across Global Demand Planning, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and manufacturing partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
- 2+ years of experience in international supply chain or related role
- Strong data analysis and ability to tell a story using data
- Excellent English and interpersonal/communication skills
- Experience with inventory management, safety stock, and KPI/scorecard reporting
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers (Tier-1/Tier-2)
- Knowledge of supply chain impacts and ability to mitigate constraints
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating supply between supplier sites
- Ability to manage complex material flows and coordinate with procurement and operations
- Hybrid work environment in Penang, Malaysia
