Job Summary
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Logistics to ensure correct supply for customer demand while communicating risks to senior leaders. Monitor and manage inventories, forecast sales and production levels, and track inventory delivery performance. Identify part supply constraints impacting production schedules and create mitigation plans with commodity management and procurement teams. Execute risk management analysis using past performance data, demand versus supply, and lead time stack-ups. Serve as the tactical point of contact for local plant supply chain needs, analyzing material requirements to optimize planning. Ensure on-time delivery of purchased materials at planned costs and issue purchase orders to qualified suppliers. Conduct daily supplier follow-ups, schedule pickups, process RMAs, and hold open order review meetings. Build cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives meeting cost, quality, and delivery goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Two (2) plus years of related experience as Material Planner, Production Planner, Buyer, Program Manager, Operations Lead, or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage demand planning and supply planning within MRP
- Proficient in MRP systems
- Onsite position in Carson, CA
- Salaried role
- Monday – Friday from 7am-3:30pm
