Supply Chain Planner (Falcon, Dragon, & Starfall)

Job Summary
Plan, lead, and execute sourcing strategies with metrics tracking while maintaining accurate BOM configurations and inventory levels to mitigate production shortages. Facilitate make-vs-buy decisions, conduct should-cost modeling, and optimize logistics, manufacturing, and refurbishment planning for Falcon, Dragon, and Starfall programs. Execute risk management analyses covering demand, supply, and lead time stack-ups, then place POs for MRP planning messages and resolve purchase order discrepancies. Lead supplier facility visits, champion value engineering projects, and build cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals. Proactively update management on critical supply issues and conduct design for manufacturability reviews with engineering and supplier teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of experience working in Engineering
- 1+ years of experience working in Purchasing
- 1+ years of experience working in Contract negotiation
- 1+ years of experience working in Material or production planning
- 1+ years of experience working in Operations or supply chain management
- 1+ years of experience working in Material cost control
- 1+ years of experience working in Master production scheduling
- 4+ years of experience working in Engineering
- 4+ years of experience working in Purchasing
- 4+ years of experience working in Contract negotiation
- 4+ years of experience working in Material or production planning
- 4+ years of experience working in Operations or supply chain management
- 4+ years of experience working in Material cost control
- 4+ years of experience working in Master production scheduling
- Must be able to travel - up to 50% work week travel may be required, including international travel
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national
- Must be a U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Must be a Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Must be an Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
- Must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
