Job Summary
Analyst role providing data-driven insight to optimize end-to-end supply chain for rail rolling stock, including KPI frameworks, dashboards, forecasting and replenishment for train spares, cross-location stocktakes, data governance, and liaison with senior stakeholders across Materials, Stores and Procurement. Requires 5+ years in a supply chain/rail or asset-intensive environment; strong Excel/Power BI analytics, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Based at the Temple Mills depot in Leyton (London area); on-call may be required. Travel not specified beyond depot-based responsibilities. Minimum education aligned to high school equivalency; permanent full-time position with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Significant, demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) in a supply chain, logistics or materials management environment within a complex, asset-intensive or engineering-led organisation.
- Proven track record of driving supply chain performance improvements through data analysis, insight generation and stakeholder influence.
- Strong, practical understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including forecasting, demand planning, replenishment, inventory management and supplier performance management.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations.
- Advanced analytical capability, with expertise in Excel and Power BI (SQL desirable).
