Job Summary
Supply Chain Operations Manager lead and supervise a team of Supply Chain Ops Supervisors, SNE, and hourly staff to meet facility goals and operational plans. Responsibilities include communicating shift goals, devising plans to achieve objectives, coaching and motivating employees, providing progress updates, implementing corrective actions, leading training initiatives, solving operational issues with Lean/cI initiatives, ensuring safety programs, and maintaining accurate records. The role interfaces with customers and carriers as needed, supports process training, tracks time/attendance, and enforces location safety and procedures. Strong emphasis on leadership, problem solving, communication, and adherence to policies to deliver safe, productive operations and exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Two (2) years or more in logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
- Two (2) years or more Previous supervisory experience required
- Three (3) years or more problem solving skills experience, use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) intermediate preferred
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) depending on position intermediate required
- OSHA required intermediate required
- DOT and Hazmat knowledge based on the account intermediate preferred
- Intermediate computer skills intermediate required
- Exposure to Lean principles, systems and tools beginner preferred
