Supply Chain Operations Associate

Supply Chain Operations Associate in Toledo, OH responsible for operational functions, independent decision making related to material availability and inventory control. Key duties include following up purchased parts to ensure on-time delivery, serving as main contact for suppliers, directing ship schedule requirements and containment plans, tracking critical parts, coordinating alternative sources or spot buys, monitoring truck loads for material pickup, maintaining inventory levels in MGO, reviewing part buffers, and documenting/managing code exceptions. Requires strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Beneficial knowledge areas include MGO (GM's MRP system), transportation management, and material flow related to manufacturing; schedule is Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with potential overtime on Saturdays.
