Job Summary
Lead all purchasing, procurement, logistics, and inventory activities for the company, including supplier relationship management, the full PO lifecycle, and stock availability to support production. Drive the evaluation and implementation of a new ERP/MRP system, collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance, and identify process improvements across procurement, inventory, and logistics while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This role offers growth potential into expanded supply chain and operations leadership and involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and new product development. The successful candidate will lead a major systems transition from QuickBooks to ERP/MRP, manage domestic and international supplier relationships, and oversee shipping and receiving to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant material movement.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations management
- Strong background in purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control
- Experience overseeing shipping and receiving operations in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; experience transitioning from QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, growth‐oriented environment
- Experience in instrumentation, hardware, or medical device manufacturing is a plus
