Job Summary
Supply Chain Manager responsible for managing distribution activities for assigned facilities, budgets, and receiving/transportation operations; will review master production plans, collaborate with supply chain teams to align objectives, drive continuous improvement, promote FSQA programs, develop supply chain teams, and support 3PLs to ensure budget adherence. Day-to-day duties include overseeing receiving, operations planning, and distribution/transportation, reviewing production plans and capacity to balance costs with productivity and inventory levels, creating and maintaining supply chain operating budgets, driving change to improve plant activities, building team capability and flexibility, coordinating with corporate office on short- and long-range production plans, ensuring tool availability for the team, and fostering functional capability across the supply chain network while supporting food safety and quality programs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience, experience with transportation and 3PL management, leadership of multi-site operations, strong communication, data analysis and forecasting skills, proficiency with inventory systems (SAP, Red Prairie), analytical and mathematical acumen, and excellent organizational capabilities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or closely related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management
- Previous experience with transportation and 3PL management
- Proven track record in leading multi-site Supply Chain operations
- Effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems/software (e.g., SAP, Red Prairie)
- Analytical mindset with strong mathematics
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Active participation in and/or leadership of community, charitable and employee events
