Job Summary
Develop and execute procurement strategies for EPC projects across the MasTec Power Delivery East and Central Regions, managing sourcing for materials, equipment, subcontractors, and professional services. Lead a team of Procurement Category Analysts and Material Planners to drive competitive bidding, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure contractual compliance while maximizing value and mitigating risk. Oversee material planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain disruptions to support safe, efficient, and profitable project execution. Partner closely with Business Development, Estimating, Project Management, Legal, and Finance to align procurement activities with customer contract requirements and critical path schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Economics)
- 10+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience
- Experience managing complex categories, suppliers and contracts
- Ability for occasional travel
Desired Qualifications
- JD Edwards, Oracle Cloud Fusion Procurement, and/or other IT systems proficiency
- Experience in construction, utilities, or field operations
- Self-starter who works effectively with a variety of people at various levels within the company and supply base
- Working knowledge of engineering specifications, scopes of work, and construction execution requirements
- Demonstrated success delivering procurement savings and managing critical project supply chains
- Experience in negotiating large-scale construction and field service agreements
