Job Summary
Lead purchasing, supplier management, materials, inventory, logistics, and ERP/MRP process improvements for the USA operation while coordinating with the Canadian operation. Mentor and manage the supply chain team, negotiate contracts and pricing, drive supplier performance, design and refine inventory and logistics processes, ensure accurate inventory counts, support production schedules, and collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations to improve ERP/MRP discipline and overall supply chain performance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, materials, inventory, logistics, or related manufacturing operations
- 5+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years in a Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials, or Purchasing Leadership role
- Experience leading or developing buyers, planners, purchasing, logistics, inventory, materials, or supply chain personnel
- Strong ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing environment
- Relevant post-secondary education, professional training, designation, or certification in Supply Chain
