Job Summary
Lead procurement strategy and vendor management to minimize total landed cost and reduce supply risk across raw materials, components, MRO, and finished goods. Oversee global inventory control and logistics planning to ensure on-time arrival and support new product launch initiatives. Establish performance benchmarks, manage external suppliers, and optimize workflows to drive continuous improvement in material planning and flow. Mentor direct reports, foster cross-functional collaboration with operations and logistics, and align supply chain strategies with organizational goals to achieve the lowest in-place concrete cost.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, and operations
- CPSM or CSCP preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills and alignment with EFCO core values
- Strong MRP and plant floor systems experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related PC tools
- Excellent judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Skilled in negotiating, developing and delivering presentations and training
- Ability to travel occasionally / as needed
- Ability to regularly perform all job functions at company office or worksite
- Ability to withstand environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, noises
- Must be able to sit or stand as required for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to climb ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles etc occasionally
- Must be able to balance constantly
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers occasionally
- Must be able to stoop occasionally
- Must be able to walk frequently
- Must be able to hear frequently
- Must be able to talk frequently
- Must have capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time
- Must be able to read complex documents in the English language
- Must have capacity to reason and make sound decisions
- Must be able to write complex documents in the English language
- Must be able to express thoughts orally
- Must be able to work 100% onsite at Des Moines, IA location
Desired Qualifications
