Job Summary
Supply Chain Manager responsible for Master Scheduling, Materials Planning, Warehouse Management, Receiving, Sequencing, Shipping, and Inventory Control in Monroe and offsite locations. Includes planning and purchasing of nonproduction materials and services, leading continuous improvement to implement best practices, and managing SAP Master Data and MRP usage. Collaborates with Customer Service on site, coordinates new product launches with SAP master data and forecasts, drives 95% inventory accuracy with cycle counts and semi-annual physical inventories, optimizes plant-wide inventory and safety stock, monitors KPIs for inventory management, planning, freight, packaging and nonproduction materials, ensures just-in-time supply of materials and resolves stock shortages, minimizes expedited freight to zero, provides leadership in materials matters, participates in annual budget/plan development for Materials, Freight, Packaging and Nonproduction purchasing, and supports supply chain standards and IT topics within the plant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university
- Eight to ten years related experience in materials management background in manufacturing with the emphasis on procurement, production planning, and inventory control
- APICS certifications preferred
- Strong understanding of ERP Systems and operations
