Job Summary
Lead the Inventory Control & Systems Specialist function to ensure accurate inventory visibility and resolve discrepancies across Beck facilities. Manage purchase order creation, vendor communications, and ERP data integrity while partnering with Accounting for financial reconciliation. Identify root causes of inventory variances, implement process improvements, and develop SOPs to enhance operational efficiency. Coach team members, support hiring and onboarding, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and IT to prioritize supply needs. Provide data-driven reporting on inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost trends to support leadership decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory control, or operations
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/MRP systems, procurement processes, and inventory control practices
- Ability to lead through data, investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Strong communication skills across procurement, operations, accounting, IT, vendors, and leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or food/beverage industry
- Experience with IQMS, D365, Aptos, or similar inventory/procurement platforms
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field
