Job Summary
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency. Manage inventory levels, including forecasting, planning, and ordering to meet production demands. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality. Oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation activities to ensure smooth flow of materials. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and quality issues. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals. Implement and manage supply chain technology solutions to enhance operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
- Familiarity with ERP implementation or optimization projects
