Job Summary
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and efficiency. Manage supplier relationships through contract negotiation and performance evaluation. Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste. Lead demand planning and forecasting processes to align with production schedules. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the entire supply chain while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery. Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics and performance indicators. This role supports manufacturing-focused organizations in the Allendale region, with a focus on building strong teams and leading effective initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and improving on-time delivery rates
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
- Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to global suppliers (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, German)
