Job Summary
Supply Chain Manager responsible for material systems and execution for a single business unit with multiple plants; requires 50% travel to support Adient JIT facilities. Manages material systems and processes for SCM teams, drives continuous improvement, ensures compliance with Materials Management Systems, and leads rollout of new material business processes. Interfaces with customers and suppliers; oversees performance metrics, budgeting/planning, and cross-functional initiatives to reduce costs and optimize material flow. APICS certification is a plus; Bachelor's degree in SCM/Finance/Accounting/Engineering with manufacturing experience is required. Primary location: Plymouth, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
- 6 years manufacturing experience
- APICS Certification a plus
