Job Summary
Join Webasto Sunroofs Inc. as an SCM Intern to gain hands-on experience in supply chain activities. You will support cycle-counting and inventory tracking, process invoices and purchase orders/goods receipts, assist in supplier-management tasks (release verification, delivery-compliance checks, backlog monitoring), collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to monitor orders and drive process improvements, and use SAP and MS Excel/Word to document results and analyze data. Applicants should be pursuing a degree in SCM or related field (preferably Junior or Senior), be able to lift up to 15 lbs, have authorization to work in the U.S., and have reliable transportation to the Lexington, KY facility. Warehouse experience and knowledge of shipping/receiving/accounting procedures are preferred, with bi-lingual ability considered a plus. The role offers exposure to procurement, logistics, production, and finance, and provides hands-on experience with supply chain functions, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in SCM Management or related field
- Preferably Junior or Senior year
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
- Authorization to work in the U.S
- Reliable transportation to Lexington, KY facility
- Warehouse experience with warehouse management software experience preferred
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving/accounting procedures preferred
- Eager to learn and positive attitude towards work
- Flexibility to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to utilize SAP, MS Excel and Word to document results and organize/analyze data
