Supply Chain Management Professional - Bottleneck Management

Job Summary
Lead and manage material shortages and allocations to ensure supply for Schaeffler AG production locations, initiating measures to eliminate bottlenecks in the supply chain. Work closely with suppliers, sales, planning, production, and purchasing to ensure supply stability, while focusing on cost-effective and environmentally conscious measures. Analyze material needs using SAP/ERP and MSM systems, process performance reporting, and promote continuous improvement with strategic suppliers. Support product termination notifications and collaborate with risk management to implement proactive measures against geo-hazard or political risks. Requires long-term automotive supply chain experience, SAP/MS Office proficiency, and willingness to travel approximately 15%.
Required Qualifications
- Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration or comparable qualification
- Long-term professional experience in Supply Chain management in automotive industry
- Willingness to travel (~15%)
- High degree of flexibility, operational readiness and assertiveness
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills as well as intercultural sensitivity
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Very good knowledge in MS Office needed, Power BI and SAP skills are desirable
- German skills are of advantage
