Job Summary
Supply Chain / Logistics Consultant position in Hamburg for ALTEN, focusing on optimizing and expanding material flow systems in aviation-related logistics. Responsibilities include designing sub-processes to reduce costs across inbound, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials; managing the end-to-end process from movement to storage between supplier and consuming point; coordinating and implementing processes; and contributing to productive, compliant logistics operations. Requires a completed degree in industrial engineering or economics with a logistics focus (or equivalent qualification), experience in logistics process planning, knowledge of material flow planning in aerospace or related sectors, and very good German and English proficiency. The role offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and opportunities for mobile/remote work where applicable, with benefits such as corporate offerings and team events. Location is Hamburg, Germany, with an in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossenes Studium der Fachrichtung Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit logistischem Schwerpunkt oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Erfahrung in der Planung von Logistikprozessen
- Kenntnisse in der Materialflussplanung in der Luft- und Raumfahrtbranche oder verwandter Sektor
- sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
