Job Summary
Support sourcing processes, transformation initiatives, and category management while developing should-cost financial models and gathering data for demand planning. Assist in request for proposal development, inventory/material processes, and supply chain group meetings. Execute a key project deliverable to present to executives by August 2027. This full-time summer internship includes mentorship, coaching, and hands-on experience with Ameren's Supply Chain team in St. Louis, Missouri, with a hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- Student status (graduate or undergraduate) in a business or technical program from an accredited college or university
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale
- Completed course work through the junior level
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Basic understanding of analytical and statistical approaches to problem solving
- Financial accounting experience
- Good understanding of Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong analytical skills
- Communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- High level of initiative
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Location: St. Louis, Missouri
- Hybrid work model availability
- Housing stipend eligibility (living & attending school 50+ miles away from working location)
Desired Qualifications
- Course work or concentration in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Math, or Data Analytics
- Previous experience in the supply chain area
