Job Summary

Define and execute a multi-year roadmap to modernize supply chain and procurement capabilities across the enterprise, right-sizing solutions for a lean environment. Build and own the spend analytics engine, developing dashboards tied to savings, EBITDA impact, and cost avoidance while establishing a governed data foundation. Identify and deploy practical AI and automation use cases to foster a culture of experimentation and drive real productivity gains. Assess the procurement tech stack for simplicity and integration ROI, ensuring effective alignment with enterprise systems like Workday. Build and maintain high-impact standards including category strategy templates, sourcing playbooks, and performance tracking cadences. Improve procurement operations through process design and automation, ensuring strong execution in catalog management and procure-to-pay alignment. Establish structured repositories for contracts, sourcing history, and vendor data to enable historical insights for future negotiations. Lead a tight-knit team by developing scalable training programs and elevating data literacy and AI fluency across the function.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing
  • Demonstrated experience in transformation, operations excellence, or capability building
  • Hands-on experience with analytics, reporting, or data-driven decision-making
  • Experience implementing or improving procurement systems, tools, or workflows
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong track record of delivering measurable value (savings, efficiency, productivity)
  • Onsite 4 days/week in our Chicago office (Fulton Market District)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting or internal transformation roles (2–4+ years preferred)
  • Background in CPG, manufacturing, automotive, or other process-mature industries
  • Experience in a high accountability environment
  • Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics in a business context (Note: deep technical expertise not required — practical application is)
