Supply Chain Implementation Advisor

Job Summary
Lead the design and build-out of a formal Supply Chain department, establishing governance structures, role clarity, and decision rights under the direction of the VP. Develop multi-year strategies that align with company objectives while advising executive leadership on risks, tradeoffs, and capital investments. Coordinate cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Finance, Production, Quality, and Operations to optimize working capital, inventory turns, and cost efficiency. Establish S&OP processes, KPIs, and reporting structures to drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance with NRC, cGMP, and ISO standards. Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to modernize systems and secure optimal pricing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Warehousing/Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
- 15+ years of progressively increasing managerial experience in a production environment
- 10+ years of supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Significant experience in positive influencing without direct authority
- 5+ years of experience coaching and mentoring for supply chain staff
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- ERP System rollout experience
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management practice or MBA
- Hands-on experience utilizing lean principles for continuous process improvements (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S)
- 12+ years of supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Familiarity with NRC requirements for waste handling, storage and distribution
- APICS Certification
