Job Summary
Supply Chain Financial Analyst at Ochsner Health who analyzes and reports on monthly financial statements, maintains databases, supports strategic projects, assists in budgeting, and responds to ad hoc reporting requests. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science (or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu) with MBA as a preferred advanced degree. CPA preferred. Must possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, experience in financial analysis, forecasting and reporting, and familiarity with healthcare operations. Travel between facilities and ability to work a flexible schedule are noted. The role focuses on delivering financial insights to improve operational profitability and participates in budget formation and related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science or related area OR 10 years relevant professional experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively testing for certification (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient with Windows-style applications, various office software packages
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels within the patient care process
- Medium Work capability and ability to travel between facilities
- Flexibility in work schedule
