Job Summary
Own continuity of supply for PCBs and components on the Starshield program; collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing to manage suppliers; source parts aligned with supplier capabilities; identify and onboard new suppliers; develop and implement supplier quality requirements and PPAP; monitor qualification and reliability activities; implement process controls to meet hardware manufacturing needs; drive supplier improvement through data analysis, root-cause resolution, and cost/yield optimization; coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve supplier quality issues; lead projects and present updates to internal teams and suppliers; act as internal owner of SPC and supplier qualification activities; travel up to 60% as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs), engineering laminates, electrochemical processes, and/or microelectronics fabrication
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to travel: Up to 25-60% travel required (domestic and international)
- Valid driver’s license
