Job Summary

Manage supplier quality issues, lead 8D work to close prevention plans, and drive MQI closure throughput time to industry standards. Improve factory manufacturing availability by liaising on supplier labor issues and resolving limiting module problems across toolsets. Conduct cost control, process optimization, and production yield studies to enhance operational efficiency while establishing KPIs and monitoring performance. Mentor less experienced engineers and coach teams to drive VF-wide improvements and standardization. This role supports Intel's Foundry Technology Manufacturing team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, focusing on semiconductor manufacturing excellence and supply chain innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience
  • PhD in the same fields as the degree requirement
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Relevant experience in Semiconductor factory operations
  • Relevant experience in supply chain engineering
  • Relevant experience in supplier management
  • Root cause analysis skills
  • Model based problem solving (MBPS) skills
  • KPI development skills
  • Performance tracking skills for supply chain operations

Desired Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Advanced packaging technologies knowledge
