Job Summary

Distribution Center Manager responsible for frontline supervision of a medium-sized team of hourly employees, ensuring labor efficiency and productivity with a continuous process improvement mindset. Oversees staffing and scheduling based on DC volume, enforces KPI-driven accountability, communicates effectively with staff, maintains operational integrity, and recruits and develops staff with recognition of individual and team performance. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in distribution/operations, familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), and strong leadership and communication skills. Must be able to work varied shifts and drive performance improvements in a deadline-driven environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of five years experience in related field
  • 5+ years progressively challenging experience in distribution operations
  • 4+ years managing a medium-sized group of non-exempt employees
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability and willingness to work varied shifts
  • proficient in PC based applications
  • sense of urgency in deadline driven environment
  • proven decision making capabilities
