Job Summary
Lead global and regional sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials while driving supplier localization, value engineering, and cost reduction projects. Oversee demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and capacity planning to ensure service levels and production continuity. Negotiate commercial agreements, long-term supply contracts, and pricing expectations, and manage inbound and outbound logistics to optimize freight and trade compliance. Develop supply chain risk assessment and mitigation strategies, lead corrective actions for underperforming suppliers, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer audits. Manage supply chain budgets, inventory investment, and working capital while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Malaysia operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain / Business Administration or a related field
- At least 15 years of Supply Chain Leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing supply chain teams
- Proven track record of delivering results
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Ability to influence the decision-making process and outcome through detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations, and demonstration of expertise
- Capable of managing cross-functional project teams to generate material value across multiple product lines
- Proficiency in supply chain technologies and ERP applications
- Oracle Cloud/SAP S4 Hana is a must-have
Desired Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge and a deep understanding of Semiconductor supply chain dynamics, including procurement, logistics, and supplier management
