Job Summary
Lead strategic, end-to-end supply chain operations for the AMS Operations unit, including procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management. Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with growth, customer commitments, and regulatory requirements; negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements; manage supplier performance, risk, and obsolescence, and drive improvements through scorecards and supplier visits. Oversee material availability, inventory optimization, and shipping/freight with a focus on cost efficiency and working-capital reduction. Ensure compliance with aerospace/defense standards and government contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS/ITAR) and maintain supplier registers. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations to optimize material flow, support production, and deliver on commitments. Requires 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, ERP proficiency, and US Citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related field
- 10+ years of professional industry-related experience
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar
- Experience supporting government contracts and defense programs
- US Citizenship required
- Knowledge of Buy American Act and other aerospace/defense sourcing restrictions
- Experience with ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and related compliance requirements
