Job Summary
Lead and manage supplier relationships while driving supply chain management initiatives focused on lead time, cost, and quality reduction. Provide sophisticated problem resolution for supplier escalations and supply disruptions, including expediting supply recovery and creating executive summaries for senior management. Partner with manufacturing to perform capacity analysis, forecast production growth, and assess raw parts costs, supplier quality, and capability. Implement supplier contracts, manage business reviews, and drive improvements based on gap analysis against business requirements. Domestically and internationally travel up to 20% of the time to support these global supply chain objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Strategic sourcing experience in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment, Aerospace, Defense or Medical equipment industries
- Any relevant certifications like PMP/CSCP/CPSM etc
- Must possess Commercial aptitudes
- The ability and desire to constantly learn
- Domestic and international travel is required (up to 20%)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Supply Chain Management in any industry
- Experience with Engineering/Supply Chain Management within the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry
- Master's Level Degree
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- 2 years of related work experience (for Bachelor's Level Degree)
- 5 years of related work experience (for Bachelor's Level Degree)
- Equivalent work experience (to Master's Level Degree)
