Supply Chain Buyer / Planner

Buyer/Planner responsibilities include owning the full procurement cycle (source, quote, negotiate, issue POs) for hardware, materials and consumables; managing open orders from PO issuance to delivery; resolving PO discrepancies; maintaining ERP/MRP data; identifying cost and lead-time improvements; planning material needs from BOMs/work orders; tracking parts through receiving, inspection, and kitting to build completion; ensuring traceability and build readiness; coordinating with engineering/production/receiving; supplier development and occasional supplier visits to assess capabilities and certifications; travel as needed.
