Job Summary
Supply Chain Buyer responsible for sourcing and negotiating suppliers for assigned commodities, issuing purchase orders and contracts, and supporting the Master Production Schedule. Key duties include negotiating for price, delivery, service, and quality; developing supplier contracts (POs, Schedule/Blanket PAs); supporting departmental goals and budgets; driving cost reduction; building a robust supplier base; leading cost-reduction initiatives; developing long-range purchasing strategies; attending cross-functional meetings; and performing procurement duties with ERP systems knowledge (Infor XA). The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or relevant years of experience), 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment, and strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Travel up to 15% is required.
