Job Summary
Accurately check incoming shipments against purchase orders, fill orders from requisitions, and receive, store, and issue hospital supplies and equipment. Monitor par levels, drive Hospital-owned vehicles for deliveries, and receive/sort incoming mail and interoffice correspondence. Assist in packaging returned merchandise, maintain warehouse and mailroom areas, and perform periodic inventories while duplicating forms and maintaining records. Adhere to infection control policies, JCAHO standards, and safety protocols regarding lifting and hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Valid California Driver's license with good driving record
- Demonstrated clerical and math aptitude
Desired Qualifications
- Six(6) month experience in warehousing, store-keeping stock control work, and customer service related
- Working knowledge of medical device/supply terminology
