Job Summary
Enter customer purchase orders into the job costing system, distribute acknowledgements, and process material issues, inventory transfers, shipping charges, and job closings. Monitor jobs for data accuracy, create templates for new products, and prepare quotes for existing products and mold repairs. Assist with customer shipment setup, document distribution, and toolroom job creation while auditing prior-year jobs. Collect, scan, and file all job-related documentation to maintain accurate production and inventory records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of related manufacturing, production control, inventory, customer service, or administrative experience/training
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of job costing, inventory tracking, shipping, and reporting systems
- Ability to calculate discounts, percentages, proportions, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to analyze and interpret production and inventory data accurately
- Ability to read and interpret procedures, manuals, schedules, and customer documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and documentation accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
